It's my best friend's birthday tomorrow (I'm pretty sure she doesn't read this, but if I'm wrong then LOOK AWAY NOW!!!!!!), so I stitched up this little frame purse with some linen and scraps. It was great fun to put together, especially since I had got my little mitts on the correct glue. Blimey, that makes things a lot easier.
It's possible that there might be cake, but that's a rumour I can neither confirm nor deny at this point.

Yummy purse - I wish it was my birthday tomorrow and that I was your best friend!!! ;)
ReplyDeletethe purse is great, love the bobble clip frame and coordinating fabrics!
ReplyDeletethanks Ruth!
DeleteOh... how I love your coin purse! I've made a few of these but have never done one with the flat bottom. It looks so much better and seems like it would hold more! Thanks for the inspiration! Lovely blocks, too!
ReplyDeleteI did my blocks yesterday as well - very nervous knowing it is for someone else. I love wonky logs but seconded guessed everything.
ReplyDeleteLove the green bobbles on the purse - goes so well with the fabric.
I bet the cake probably is just a rumour by now ;o)
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the blocks anyway, no such thing as too much wonk :oD Love the purse too

ReplyDeleteAs much as I like cake (very much) the purse is the the big treat! So pretty!

I want to say that I'm glad you have given up your virginity in such a good cause but I'm sure that sounds a bit wrong! Hehe! Great purse too!
