Aieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
I got an email a while back to say that I had won a giveaway over at Stash Books for the lovely new quilt book "We Love Colour". Fast forward a few weeks, and just as I was starting to think that it might have got lost in the post there was a knock at the door this morning and I was handed a suspiciously heavy parcel.
So I opened it up, and under the book was the most exciting thing that has happened to me in ages. I had totally forgotten about the giant stack of fabric that was included in the prize. What a numpty! Needless to say, the excited shrieking made my poor husband a bit nervous until he realised what was going on.
A fat quarter stack of all 28 of the new Kona colours (including the two greys I needed)!!!! I feel like such a lucky duck - I think I'll have a smile on my face for the rest of the day, and possibly even the week!

Ooh, lucky duck! I also won the book recently, but although mine didn't come with a fq pack, it did come with a bunch of other things, so I can't be too jealous lol The book is fab though, and I'll be expecting to see you recreate all the quilts inside with that bundle ;o)

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness how lucky are you?! Having just read someone else's blog about getting a Horizon, and now this wondrous bundle dropping from the sky, I am danger of serious jealousy overload now! I'm sure you will make something fabulous from this pretty lot x
